U18 Real Madrid's Dos Anjos is ANGT L'Hospitalet MVP!

Big man Felipe Dos Anjos of U18 Real Madrid was named the MVP as the defending continental champions won their third consecutive title at the of the Euroleague Basketball ADIDAS NEXT GENERATION TOURNAMENT Qualifying Tournament - Torneig de Bàsquet Junior Ciutat de L'Hospitalet on Wednesday. Felipe Dos Anjos chipped in 6 points, 3 rebounds and 3 blocks as Madrid held on in a defensive-minded final to defeat archrival U18 FC Barcelona Lassa 50-48. Dos Anjos, who stands 2.18 meters, led Madrid to a 5-0 record in the tournament with averages of 9.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.6 blocks. He also made 76.9% of his two-point shots.

Dos Anjos was joined on the all-tournament team by Aleix Font, who led Barcelona with 14.6 points per game; Isaac Bonga and Lars Lagerpusch of semifinalist U18 Brose Baskets Bamberg; and Yovel Zoosman from semifinalist U18 Maccabi Teddy Tel Aviv, the leading overall scorer with 18 points on average.
